Email from Capt. Lee

“Thank you so much for the love and support that you and your organization has shown my unit. We received the huge box and it was like Christmas to my Soldiers. As you hit right on the head with your letter, we Soldiers go through socks like water. Because of all of the high tempo that we endure, we are sometimes in the same socks for days at a time. Any athlete know the importance of proper foot care and your special package helps us do just that. I can proudly say that EVERY SINGLE pair of socks was taken and distributed to Soldiers that needed it. On a side note, I am going to have to put in for a exception to policy to allow my Soldiers to wear the cool bright socks that your athletes have generously donated.

From the bottom of my (our) heart(s), please thank all of your volunteers in the Abilities Tennis Association of North Carolina. It is because of great Americans like group that my Soldiers and I are glad to serve and glad to protect the freedoms that make our nation. THANK YOU for your love and support. God bless you and your wonderful organization.”
